AUW works with the underserved communities to create more inclusive growth opportunities and empower them to lead a respected and dignified life

Identify economic opportunity

We focus on nurturing and supporting micro entrepreneurs. Our products are developed organically to address needs identified by women and the community we work with. We believe in continually evolving and adapting our efforts to better suit their needs.

Co-create the success model

While access to finance is one of the most important means to empower the underserved community, it certainly is not the only ingredient to ensuring their success. Our model is built on identifying the needs, sharing knowledge and co-creating, with the communities, meaningful services to support their entrepreneurial and life skills journey.

Drive a positive change in the community

We seek to bring about significant positive change not only in the lives of people but also in the structure of the local economy at the grass root level. Every time AUW extends a loan it enables someone to grow their business and create better opportunities for themselves as well as for others.

In 2015, our founder Shweta Aprameya decided to set up Arth Udgam Welfare Foundation to provide affordable and easy access to credit to rural communities, especially women micro-entrepreneurs. The foundation has since grown to provide meaningful services to thousands of rural women, empowering them to rise and work towards creating a better way of life.
